The Training Policy of the TRENDS Training Institute is derived from the vision and Centennial aspirations of the United Arab Emirates. It aims to:

  1. Deliver training solutions aligned with the UAE National Agenda, including UAE Vision 2031 and UAE Centennial 2071.
  2. Transform training from a process of knowledge transfer into a process of developing foresight-oriented thinking and leadership capabilities.
  3. Ensure the sustainability of knowledge and the professional transfer of expertise across generations.

2. Scope of Training

This policy covers all nine training tracks offered by the Institute, including:

  1. Advanced Scientific Research and Futures Studies Programs
  2. Strategic Media and Institutional Awareness Programs
  3. Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence Programs
  4. Capacity Building and Future Skills Development Programs
  5. Risk Management, Crisis Management, and Institutional Resilience Programs

3. Expert Selection Criteria

The Institute is committed to the highest standards in selecting trainers and subject-matter experts. Every trainer is expected to possess:

  1. An advanced academic qualification (Master’s or Doctoral degree) in the relevant field of specialization.
  2. Recognized international professional certifications.
  3. Practical field experience that enables the delivery of applied, practice-oriented training rather than purely theoretical instruction.
  4. Full compliance with the TRENDS Training Institute Code of Training Ethics.

4. Training Methodology

The Institute adopts a Sustainable Interactive Learning methodology based on the following principles:

  1. Integrating emerging technologies and artificial intelligence into the training process.
  2. Focusing on practical applications and post-program impact measurement projects.
  3. Utilizing the Leadership Echo Platform to document trainees’ learning journeys and facilitate knowledge sharing and exchange of expertise.

5. Intellectual Property Protection

The Institute is committed to protecting all educational materials and training packages developed by the Institute and its trainers through the Intellectual Creativity Protection Platform. The circulation, reproduction, copying, or redistribution of any training content is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Institute.

6. Evaluation and Quality Assurance

Each training program is subject to a comprehensive four-dimensional evaluation framework comprising:

  1. Trainee evaluation of the training content and trainer.
  2. Trainer evaluation of trainee participation, engagement, and comprehension.
  3. Pre-training and post-training assessments to measure competency acquisition.
  4. Follow-up evaluation after an appropriate period to assess the application of acquired skills in the workplace.

7. Financial Policy and Flexibility

To facilitate access to learning, the Institute offers flexible payment options, including:

  1. A secure electronic payment gateway.
  2. Flexible installment plans to support continuous learning without financial barriers.
  3. A clear refund policy that safeguards the rights of both parties in cases of postponement or cancellation.
