Held at Majlis Al Halah in Fujairah, the session was part of the Majlis Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi series.
During the session, held in conjunction with the Year of Family and as part of Fujairah Youth Days, Al-Mannaei explored the role of AI in supporting family stability and enhancing quality of life. He also addressed ways to raise community awareness of the safe and responsible use of emerging technologies, helping preserve family values and strengthen social cohesion.

Keeping Pace with Digital Transformation
Al-Mannaei, an AI researcher, discussed the growing role of AI across various aspects of life and its potential to support families through applications in education, healthcare, and everyday management, thereby enhancing quality of life and keeping pace with the digital transformation reshaping the world.
He also discussed the importance of the safe and responsible use of AI within the family and ways to empower parents and children to make positive use of emerging technologies. The session further highlighted challenges related to privacy and digital security, as well as the importance of maintaining a balanced approach to technology use.

Enhancing Quality of Life
FCCAl-Mannaei also addressed the role of AI in enhancing family well-being, emphasizing that technology should serve as a tool to support families rather than replace the family values that form the foundation of a cohesive society capable of meeting future challenges.
He noted that young people can harness AI to develop innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges, such as smart systems for water desalination and improved energy efficiency. They can also develop effective educational and training tools, helping improve the quality of education and strengthen community participation.
The session reflected Majlis Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen family cohesion and foster greater awareness among young people by highlighting the role of AI in serving families and promoting the responsible use of emerging technologies.
