TRENDS Research & Advisory, part of TRENDS Group, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to establish integrated, sustainable institutional cooperation by exchanging expertise and knowledge across areas of mutual interest. The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Mohamed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. H.E. Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of TRENDS Dubai, signed the agreement in the presence of general managers, sector heads, and department directors.

The agreement is underpinned by a shared vision to conduct specialized, in-depth economic research and studies that help shape policies supporting the commercial and industrial sectors, enable decision-makers to anticipate future developments through rigorous, research-based insights, and advance the objectives of Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030. The agreement also aims to enhance the competitiveness of Chamber member companies and institutions and enable them to explore growth opportunities in regional and global markets by maximizing the benefits of specialized research and economic advisory services. It also seeks to build international partnerships that expand business reach and enhance investment appeal, while fostering a diversified knowledge economy by shifting the local economy from reliance on traditional resources to one driven by innovation, research, and development, in line with the UAE’s national agenda and UAE Centennial 2071.

Al Nuaimi said cooperation between the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and TRENDS will include preparing a suite of specialized economic studies and knowledge reports on promising sectors in Ras Al Khaimah. It will also involve targeted field surveys in collaboration with TRENDS Barometer to measure business climate confidence indicators, monitor the views and trends of the Chamber’s clients, and analyze market needs, providing a dynamic, regularly updated database to support the development of services and policies.
He explained that the cooperation will also include applied research addressing pressing challenges in the logistics, industry, and tourism sectors, using advanced scientific methodologies in data analysis and economic modeling. In addition, the Chamber will develop innovative research-oriented training programs to equip young professionals with the skills needed in strategic analysis, innovation management, and interpreting economic indicators.
