TRENDS said that celebrating Emirati Women’s Day represents an opportunity to reaffirm and highlight the gains and achievements made by Emirati women across numerous fields, particularly in research. Women are the backbone of research and knowledge, the foundation for building generations and advancing societies, and active contributors to the development and progress of the United Arab Emirates.
The Group affirmed that Emirati women have attained a prominent and distinguished position, including in decision-making roles, and play a pivotal role across all fields of work. They also make fundamental contributions to preparing and qualifying future generations to carry the banner of science and knowledge. This aligns with the aspirations of the UAE, which has established a unique development model that places people at the heart of its progress by empowering women and recognizing female talent that has proven its capabilities and achieved exceptional successes at both regional and international forums.
The Group explained that it and its five companies have committed to supporting and empowering Emirati female researchers, both academically and professionally, by providing a flexible work environment that encourages creativity and innovation, alongside dedicated training programs and opportunities for collaboration and engagement with international experts. The aim is to build a new generation of female researchers capable of contributing to the analysis of contemporary issues, crises, and challenges and foreseeing the future through knowledge.
