H.E Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al-Dhaheri

Dr. Khalifa Al Dhaheri serves as Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities and is recognized as a prominent academic specializing in Islamic studies and promoting values of tolerance and coexistence. He is also Director General of al-Mutta Center for Studies and Education and Executive Director of the Forum for the Promotion of Peace in Muslim Communities.

He holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies and earned his PhD with a dissertation entitled Dismantling the Discourse of Religious Extremism in the UAE’s Experience – Curriculum and Initiative, examining extremist ideological structures and mechanisms for addressing them through the UAE’s moderation-based model. His research interests focus on religious discourse renewal, moderation, and building scientific partnerships supporting intellectual and social stability.
