Rosette Hobeich is a Master of Arts in International Relations candidate at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she focuses on the economics and security landscapes of conflict-affected states. She holds a BA in International Security Studies from the University of Oklahoma, with minors in International Development and French Studies. Her research interests include cybersecurity, geopolitical risk, and the political and economic dynamics of the Middle East and Eastern Europe. In 2026, she completed a research internship with TRENDS Training Institute in Abu Dhabi, where she examined the role of artificial intelligence in China’s state-sponsored cyber operations and contributed to strategic reports on regional and global developments. She has previously conducted research on sanctions policy, non-state actors, and emerging technologies, and holds experience in policy research, data analysis, and nonprofit consulting.
