Amaleehah Aslam-Forrester

Amaleehah Aslam-Forrester is a researcher specialising in long-term governance and feminist political economy, with a particular interest in the care and wellbeing economy. She has 12 years of experience in grassroots work, designing and facilitating programmes with young people and diverse groups to advance gender and racial equity and social cohesion. Her practice draws on participatory foresight, human-centred design and advocacy to centre lived experience, imagine alternative futures and translate people’s priorities into policy and decision-making.

Her wider experience spans research, policy and strategic foresight across think tanks, civil society and the private sector, including TRENDS Research & Advisory, the School of International Futures, Business Fights Poverty, UK Youth and Integrate UK.

Amaleehah holds an MA in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe, an MSc in Global Development from SOAS, University of London, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of the West of England.
