A Knowledge Presence in the Heart of Europe
TRENDS Group, through its sectors – TRENDS Global, TRENDS Research & Advisory, and TRENDS Barometer – concluded its active and distinguished participation in the Warsaw International Book Fair 2026. The exhibition was held in Warsaw from May 27-31, 2026, at the PGE Narodowy stadium. Through this event, the group reinforced its international research and knowledge presence, presenting an effective model of intellectual diplomacy and building scientific and cultural partnerships, amid widespread interest from academic, political, and diplomatic circles.
An Integrated Knowledge Pavilion
The TRENDS Group pavilion attracted significant interest from visitors, researchers, and intellectuals. The group showcased around 450 titles spanning strategic studies, public policy, and future studies, alongside its latest research publications and knowledge initiatives.
The pavilion also welcomed several official and diplomatic figures, foremost among them Jacek Oryl, Director of the Warsaw International Book Fair, who praised the group’s active presence and its outstanding cultural and intellectual program.
The Muslim Brotherhood Influence Index 2025
As part of the fair’s activities and in the presence of the Mufti of Poland, TRENDS Research & Advisory launched the updated 2025 edition of the Muslim Brotherhood International Influence Index (MBIPI) in Arabic, English, and French.
The launch was accompanied by a panel discussion focused on the index’s key findings. The results revealed a decline in the group’s international influence from 67.7 percent in 2024 to 47.3 percent in 2025. The panel highlighted the primary factors contributing to this decline, most notably a credibility crisis, internal divisions, and legal prosecutions in several countries.
Additionally, the group showcased its TRENDS Encyclopedia on the Muslim Brotherhood, which has been translated into 16 languages worldwide as part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the dangers posed by extremist groups.
International Research Partnerships
In line with its expansion of international partnerships, the TRENDS Global delegation held a series of meetings with prominent Polish think tanks and research centers. This included a meeting at the Center for Eastern Studies (OSW), where both sides discussed current regional and international developments, as well as ways to enhance research cooperation between intellectual institutions in Poland and the Arabian Gulf region.
The delegation also met with representatives of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation. The discussions covered energy issues, societal resilience, water security, and the role of youth in research, as well as exploring prospects for scientific and knowledge exchange between the two organizations.
Furthermore, the group’s delegation conducted field tours across several international pavilions participating in the fair, including those of Ukraine, Italy, Romania, and China. Views and ideas were exchanged to explore opportunities for joint cultural and intellectual cooperation, thereby fostering intercultural dialogue and expanding global collaboration.
A New Milestone on the Global Stage
TRENDS Group’s participation in the Warsaw International Book Fair 2026 marked a new milestone in its global journey. It showcased the services and partnerships of its five sectors, reflecting their growing status as an effective international research and knowledge platform.
