TRENDS – North Africa (Virtual)

TRENDS Research & Advisory, in line with its global aspirations and strategic vision, is pleased to announce the launch of its virtual office in the North Africa region. This decision stems from the Center’s awareness of this region’s growing regional and international importance and the critical strategic depth it represents for the UAE.

The office aims to:

• Strengthen TRENDS’ presence in North Africa and its neighboring regions as a leading research platform by building and developing productive relationships with researchers, academics, cultural stakeholders, government bodies, and academic institutions. The goal is to actively contribute to intellectual and research production in the region and discussions on its issues.
• Establish strong ties with think tanks, research and studies centers, and scientific institutions in the region’s countries to develop partnerships with them in projects of mutual interest. This will enhance creativity and innovation through cross-border research cooperation and expand the scope of collaborative engagement.

This virtual office focuses on four key objectives:

1. Research Collaboration: Conduct joint studies, share regional expertise, and build partnerships with leading academic and research institutions across North Africa.
2. Intellectual Leadership: Organize virtual conferences, roundtables, and publications highlighting North Africa’s views on addressing regional and global challenges.
3. Youth Empowerment: Engage young researchers and emerging leaders in research dialogues and production of ideas.
4. Policy Impact: Translate research into practical recommendations that support public policymaking in a way that enhances stability, development, and cooperation.
