To expand its academic and research partnerships and strengthen international knowledge cooperation, TRENDS Global, a subsidiary of TRENDS Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bar-Ilan University. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in research, academia, and knowledge exchange, share expertise and studies, and develop joint initiatives and projects.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TRENDS Group, and Orly Gal, Head of Strategic Communication and Media Sector at the Embassy of the State of Israel to the UAE. This took place during a visit by a delegation from the Faculty of Jewish Studies at Bar-Ilan University to TRENDS Group in Abu Dhabi. The visit included a dialogue on areas of cooperation, as well as a discussion of artificial intelligence and its impacts on education and society.
The areas of cooperation outlined in the MoU include conducting joint research and studies, exchanging researchers and academics, organizing scientific conferences, seminars, and events, and implementing joint academic and knowledge initiatives that exchange expertise and strengthen communication between research and academic institutions.
The MoU emphasized the importance of building new bridges for cooperation in research, knowledge, and education, thereby opening broader horizons for academic communication and the exchange of expertise, while strengthening the role of research and academic institutions in supporting dialogue, understanding, and international cooperation.
