TRENDS Group marks World Humanitarian Day, observed annually on August 19 and established by the United Nations to recognize the efforts of humanitarian workers, honors relief workers and those affected by crises, conflicts, and wars, and highlights the importance of protecting humanitarian personnel worldwide.
On this occasion, TRENDS stressed that humanitarian work is not limited to providing urgent assistance, but begins with a deep understanding of the structural roots of crises and is strengthened by knowledge, analysis, and foresight studies.
