TRENDS Board of Directors Launches an Integrated AI Strategy to Enhance its Global Knowledge Leadership

The qualitative step solidifies its position as a leading research and advisory reference at both regional and international levels.

During its second meeting, the Board of Directors of TRENDS Group launched the group’s integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy. This qualitative step solidifies its position as a leading research and advisory resource at both regional and international levels.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of board members and directors of TRENDS companies. It also featured active participation from TRENDS’ branches in Dubai and Al Ain, lending this launch a comprehensive institutional character. This reflects strategic alignment across the entire group and aligns with the UAE’s national strategies, foremost among them the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031.

A Unified Ecosystem

The strategy encompasses all five companies in the group, which will operate within a unified, integrated AI ecosystem. This system aims to maximize knowledge synergy and enhance the group’s research and advisory impact. These companies are:

  • TRENDS Research & Advisory
  • TRENDS Global
  • TRENDS Barometer
  • TRENDS Observatory for the Study of Social Phenomena
  • TRENDS Training Institute

Five Strategic Pillars for the Future

The new strategy is built upon five key pillars aimed at developing the research work ecosystem:

Forecasting and Future Studies: Utilizing AI tools to monitor global shifts and analyze future scenarios, thereby providing stakeholders with accurate and reliable data that contributes to policymaking and guides development strategies.

Testing and Opinion Polling: Developing advanced methodologies to measure social phenomena and public opinion indicators through TRENDS Barometer and TRENDS Observatory, utilizing analytical AI models to ensure the accuracy and depth of results.

Capacity Building and Training: Enabling the TRENDS Training Institute to offer specialized programs in AI and its research and knowledge applications, contributing to building a generation of qualified personnel capable of leading digital transformation.

Strategic International Partnerships: Enhancing the role of TRENDS Global in building partnerships and knowledge cooperation with major research centers, universities, and international organizations to exchange expertise and develop joint research projects that serve the global AI agenda.

Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Establishing robust frameworks for managing, protecting, and ensuring the reliability of research data across the entire group ecosystem, thereby safeguarding scientific integrity and enhancing the credibility of knowledge outputs.

Knowledge Competitiveness

On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized that artificial intelligence has become an indispensable pillar of the ecosystem of knowledge transformation and institutional competitiveness.

“This strategy will constitute a qualitative leap in the Group’s journey toward achieving true global research leadership, which will reflect positively on the dissemination of knowledge and contribute to forecasting it with professionalism and objectivity,” he stated.
